Please see attached the application form for the 2016 Ulster GAA Coach Academy,

The Academy is for Hurling and Mens/Ladies Gaelic Football coaches. The Aim of the Academy is to complement the coaching qualification pathway, by providing a number of short workshops/courses to further develop coaching expertise over a period of 12months
The key aim is to support and develop coaches' knowledge and application of technical, tactical, physiological and psychological/lifestyle factors that affect a player’s and ultimately a team’s performance.
The criteria is quite strict. we are looking for coaches who:
• Are committed to working at performance level, i.e. county academy squad, minor, U21 or senior level
• Have Completed a level 1 (Gaelic, Hurling, Ladies Gaelic, Camogie) Coaching Qualification.
• Will attend the 4 weekends over the year involving a Friday evening and Saturday, Attendance at all dates below is compulsory, as is the requirement to complete all tasks set.
1. 22 – 23 April
2. 22nd – 23rd July
3. 14th – 15th October
4. 11th – 12th November
• Must be approved and signed off by your County Coaching Officer and Games Development Manager

The closing date to summit completed applications forms is Wednesday 6th April at 4:00pm, all successful candidates will be notified before Friday 15th April.
