U12 Tournament in Kilmacud Crokes Arrangements

Matches being played in Deekpark Dublin

 

Some people meeting at Dunsilly roundabout to drive down as a convoy at 7:30am for anyone interested.

 

Directions  

 

 - Follow M50 to Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown

 - Take exit 13 from M50

 - At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit toward Drummartin Link Rd

 - Turn right onto Mount Anville Rd/R112 (0.5 mi)
 - Turn right onto Deerpark Rd (0.2 mi)

   



   

Rules


The Under 12’s Festival (Born 2003) comprises an 8-team event with 15 players per team and no more than 20 players per panel. The event will commence at 10.30am and will consist of 2 groups of 4 teams which will play each other on a round robin basis after that finals will be played for each team, therefore, all teams will get 4 games. Proceedings, including presentations will be completed by 3.30pm at the latest.


Registration for the Festival will take place at 10.00 am with matches beginning at 10.30am. Refreshments will be provided for players and mentors.


Normal hurling rules will apply except there will be "no solo” (players can take 4 steps hop then another 4 steps before moving on the ball).


The games will be played under the GAA "Give respect initiative” details of which can be found on the GAA website.
