Latest News
Dear All,
Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council has commissioned Otium Leisure Consultancy to carry out a condition survey of playing pitches and multi-use games areas across the Council to gain an up to date picture of the supply of pitches and the demand for them. This is an important piece of work, which will assist in the preparation of a Playing Pitch Strategy informing sport development across the Council in the coming years.
As part of this commission, we are facilitating three public consultation events as detailed below.
The consultation events are open to all sports clubs, governing bodies, league organisers, community groups, schools and members of the public with an interest in the development of pitches and multi-use games areas across the Council in the following sports: association football, athletics, cricket, gaelic games, hockey, lawn bowls, rugby and tennis.
Please, could you forward this invitation to all your clubs based in Causeway Coast and Glens Council area?
Consultation Events
1. Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart- Tuesday 2 May 7.30pm
2. Sheskburn Recreation Centre, Ballycastle – Wednesday 3 May 8.00pm
3. Dungiven Leisure Complex, Dungiven - Thursday 4 May 7.30pm
Many thanks
Siobhan
