- Teams to be ideally 10 a-side but if teams can only get 7 or 8 or 9 then they will be matched accordingly
- If a team cannot get enough players to play 7 a-side, then they should still travel to the venue where they will be incorporated into other teams. It is all about young hurlers getting game time
- As per last year - players are not allowed to question referee's decisions or call for fouls - if they do they are to be substituted
- Managers should not question the referee's decisions or call for fouls - if this happens continually then the team will not be allowed to participate in the following Blitz at that age group.
- Matches will be 10mins played straight through
- Usual hurling rules but an accidental 65 will result in a puc-out. A deliberate 65 will result in a 20m free
- Teams should not have any more than 3 subs. If they have more than 3 subs these lads should be incorporated into other teams
- All clubs are to email declan.heggarty@btinternet.com each week on the Tuesday prior to each blitz. They need to let him know if they are or are not attending. If attending - how many teams will you be bringing?
- There is a lot of interest in our blitzes from outside North Antrim. If clubs are not attending some weeks we can allocate the space to a visiting club for that week
Note: Clubs are NOT required to attend these blitzes every week.
