Saturday past the North Antrim School of Excellence U10, U11, U12 and U13 squads were out training across various venues across North Antrim; namely Dunloy, Cushendall, Armoy and Ballycastle. With over 140 players out there was defiantly a lot of Hurling going on.
The theme for this coaching session was catching and there will be several more of these training sessions with a different theme each time in preparation for the North Antrim weekend of Hurling scheduled towards to the tail end of August where teams from the South will be invited up for a 2 day event.
The standard and quality of coaching at the sessions was extremely high and it’s a credit to Mickey, Simon, Jonny, Dominic and all the other coaches for giving up their time to coach our young talented players. As with all these types of sessions you always come away with something and I’m sure the remainder sessions will be no different.

Well done everyone and roll on the next training session in the upcoming weeks ahead.
