North Antrim extends a very warm welcome to all the clubs attending the Festival or Hurling this weekend, particularly the teams making the hike across Ireland to the Glens of Antrim. We thank our host clubs Cuchullians Dunloy, Glen Rovers Armoy, Loughgiel Shamrocks and McQuillans Ballycastle. We hope the teams attending each of the venues will have a fun and competitive weekend of Hurling and enjoy the hospitality.
There is a huge amount of Hurling happening over the festival weekend and North Antrim would encourage as many as possible to lend their support at each of the venues and welcome our guests from around Ireland to the Glens of Antrim. Going by previous years the standard of Hurling across the venues was very high and I’ve no doubt this will return once again.
Everyone is reminded group stages are across the 4 venues on Saturday with the semi-finals / finals taking place on Sunday in Glen Rovers Armoy. All clubs should be there for 11:00am and we would ask all clubs to attend the parade. All winning teams will be presented with medals and a trophy.
North Antrim Officials will be available over the weekend contact details of which can be found on the North Antrim website, however the co-ordinator is for the tournament is:
