Feis na nGleann 2016
19th June 2016
Feis na nGleann 2016 is being held in Glenravel this year - July 1st to July 3rd 2016
History will be made this year when Feis na nGleann takes place in Glenravel where Con Magees will celebrate the centenary of its founding by a small group of enthusiasts. The Club, which later was named after Conn Magee of 1798 fame, has developed into one of the strongest in the County and will provide an excellent venue for the Feis.
As well as the usual Hurling, Football and Camogie competitions, there is also an Arts and Crafts section covering artwork, in various forms; wood, metal, glass and pottery craft; needlecraft, (knitting, sewing, crochet, embroidery etc) and kitchen craft, (cooking, baking, jam making etc).
We excel at all of these disciplines in Glenravel and this would be an excellent opportunity to showcase our endeavours – especially as it is in our own parish. Anyone wishing to get involved should contact Kieran Hughes or Cormac O’Loan ASAP.
