As Croke Park have now made it compulsory for each club to appoint a Health & Wellbeing Officer to their Executive Committee, the first Antrim GAA Health & Wellbeing Conference is being held this Saturday 21st February 2015 in the Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim.
Registration and stall event 8.30am -9.45am with Barney Herron (County Health & Wellbeing Chair) opening the conference at 10am.This will be an important event in providing key information and training for your member(s) responsible for this delivering this essential role in the modern day GAA club.
We are delighted to have secured the attendance of some of the key people responsible for this area in the GAA.

Emmett Haughian (Health and Wellbeing Officer @ Croke Park) will deliver the following training -
HEALTH AND WELLBEING TRAINING PROGRAMME A workshop which will give the appropriate training for all club health + wellbeing officers and other members which is being rolled out nationally to every county. This will form an essential element for all Club Maith applications.
Plus we are honoured to have Dr Niall Muldoon (psychologist with GPA counselling service) to confirm his attendance as our Keynote speaker.
